- Experience & Lessons - 6 July 2018 - ( Rant post )

Today ,
I quit my job .
Let's say we make this post a simple one,
 for the remembrance of how sketchy of a work it was and how stupid I was for being scammed ( semi-scammed ?  )
I would say a few things that were super weird about the work I had left today .
They have told me everything below which had intrigued me into accepting this job offer :

( a ) We won't force you to force sales on your friends and family .
( UTTER BULLSHIT ON THIS PART ALREADY )  

( b ) We would provide you with sufficient training  ( which they did not ) .
They only explained the benefits of HLA saving plan ,
to which,
 I too think it's beneficial and i wouldn't deny the benefits of it ,
but still ,
no other sufficient training was provided .
2 days and they'll force you to do sales with your own " Natural market " .
 ( to  prevent any conflicts with the huge company itself I would only use the abbreviation of HLA for reference to the huge company they are representing .  It was only a small third party agency I was working under  and therefore this incident has no correlation with the aforementioned company , HLA )  
- as for those confused with the term " Natural Market " , 
here's a simple explanation : 
Basically Natural Market are those surrounding you , 
your acquaintances , your friends and also your family etcetera . 

( c ) We would provide you with quality customers as we already have customer database ,
All you need to do is to present to the potential clients ,
and present well .
If you get the sales you'll get the commission .
( lie , you're forcing newbies to force sales on their own acquaintances , which clearly goes against    (a ) .
Moreover , they would not introduce you to new clients . Reasoning ?
 You're not ready for it .
Hello , i think it is a part of your obligation that you would train your employees so that they're capable to go out to your clients and present your products well .
Isn't it what I paid RM120 for ?
But then we don't have a binding employment contract to begin with ,
which I'm partly relieved as I am not bounded for any legal obligation of any sort and therefor I was able to quit freely at my own will without any penalty .
But at the same time I could not force them to enforce their promise to provide proper training , which is a bummer . ) 

(d ) you could choose to take basic salary and do office  work .
( my boss forced me into the commission based work , not my boss anymore , ass . 
And did I mentioned the basic salary is only RM1000 ?
If you're not in the commission based job you won't be paid a single cent if you do not have any appointments . 
Hello I'm but a woman of 20 . 
Where am I suppose to find network to afford saving RM 6000 + every year into your bank for consecutive 6 years . 
My friends are all still students . 
Yes , ASS . ) 
(e ) I've paid them a total amount of RM170 . 
50 for rental and 120 for training . 
( WHAT THE ACTUAL HELL ?
Why the hell is there a need for me ,
as an employee , to pay for rental?
 That's the first time I've heard of this kind of peculiarity . ) 

I'll set this straight .
The definition of happiness differs according to people .
Some may find luxuries thrilling and they may see it as a motto of life ,
but I do not see it that way .
I would much prefer a simple lifestyle .
Maybe that's how I was built .
They've talked me into the wonders of the world of luxury as if it's their last life line .
As if me not dreaming of wanting a luxury car ,
oh or a luxurious trip ,
is absurdity in itself .
They've looked at me as if I'm a lunatic .
But I'm but a woman of 20 .
I'm contented with a shelter over my head ,
food on my table ,
and ever more so grateful that my parents are generous enough to buy me a car for college .
Of course having a luxurious life is fun ,
but not having it wouldn't kill me either .
Same towards dreams . 

Having a big dream is good ,
but my dream may not be like yours ,
so stop shoving your dreams down my throat .
Did I mention that they sort of dissed College students and those who are struggling oh-so-much to thrive in their education ?

" Oh College is a waste of time and you would spend your whole life and you wouldn't even be able to earn back you education fee in another 10 years . " 
Erm ,
may I beg your pardon sir ?
You guys could work hard for your dream car and lifestyle .
But never ,
ever ,
disrespect those who are striving as much as YOU ARE .
I respect you guys for you are able to make a living for yourself .
But we are struggling on our own ways as well .
Mind your words .

I'm glad I've quit this job .
I left a softer reason as to why I left the job so I did not sound harsh .
" I'm not interested in this job . "  
In reality it's not quiet so ,
there is still long story left unwritten and I think I'll never get to it anymore as I'm tired of even thinking about it .
I'll just give one firm comment about this job .
" I HATE IT . " 
Every second of it and I'm glad I left it today .
